The NFL Week 5 2026 results leave just two unbeaten teams standing after Sunday, with San Francisco and Minnesota both moving to 5-0 while Kansas City sat out on a bye. Baltimore produced the comeback of the week on Sunday night, Jacksonville won in London with a kick on the final play, and Washington managed to turn a sure win into a 27-27 draw with the Giants. Tampa Bay and Houston both finally got off the mark.

49ers survive in Seattle

San Francisco went to Lumen Field and escaped 32-29 in a scrappy division game with seven combined turnovers. Mike Evans led the way with seven catches for 113 yards and a touchdown, cornerback Renardo Green grabbed two interceptions, and the 49ers even scored a defensive touchdown when they recovered a George Holani fumble in the end zone. Seattle’s last chance died when Cooper Kupp was ruled short on fourth down. The Niners are 5-0; Seattle drops to 3-2.

Vikings roll on in New Orleans

Minnesota beat the Saints 23-13 at the Superdome to stay unbeaten. Justin Jefferson returned from his ankle injury with a leaping touchdown, Aaron Jones ran for 113 yards and Kyler Murray again went turnover-free. Will Reichard nailed three kicks from 40-plus, including a 55-yarder. The defence held New Orleans to 142 total yards. The only worry was T.J. Hockenson, who was helped off after hitting his head on the turf. The Vikings now have the bye.

Ravens rally without Lamar

With Lamar Jackson out with an ankle sprain, Tyler Huntley led Baltimore from 23-15 down late in regulation in Atlanta. He drove 71 yards for a touchdown to Devontez Walker, Derrick Henry ran in the two-pointer, and Huntley sneaked in the overtime winner at the end of a 14-play drive. Kyle Hamilton then intercepted Tua Tagovailoa, who was on for Michael Penix Jr. after Penix hurt his ribs late in regulation. Baltimore is 4-1 and top of the AFC North.

Washington’s tie that felt like a loss

Jayden Daniels returned from his dislocated elbow and ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns, and Washington led the Giants 27-13 in the fourth quarter. New York rallied to force overtime. Then, with the Commanders in field-goal range at the Giants’ 24, Daniels scrambled for no gain instead of stopping the clock, and time ran out before Drew Stevens could attempt a kick. Dan Quinn took the blame. The Giants (3-1-1) lead the NFC East; Washington is 1-3-1.
